2025 Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is the employee's annual opportunity to elect and/or make changes to certain benefits for the new benefit plan year. Please review the open enrollment information provided below.
PLEASE NOTE:
Current benefits confirmation statement emails were sent out March 21 for your review. Please be aware the benefits confirmation statement email and other communication from the bswift system may have been/will be directed to your Junk Email folder.
OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD
March 24 – April 4, 2025
BENEFIT PERIOD
May 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026 (Health, HSA, Dental/Vision)
July 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026 (FSA, UNUM Products)
COMPLETING OPEN ENROLLMENT
To make open enrollment changes, you will log in with your 大象传媒 username and password to the online benefit management system (bswift). You may use the step-by-step enrollment guide prepared for you.
Click "Start your Enrollment" and keep the following in mind:
- Be sure to make a selection on each benefit before proceeding to the next.
-
Your wellness reward, if requirements were met in February and March, will be displayed as a credit under the health plan selection.
- If you will be newly covering yourself and/or your spouse effective July 1, please watch out for communication from us in July for instructions on how the wellness reward requirements can be completed and the reward received retroactive to May 1.
- Once enrollment is complete, review your elections and confirmation statement.
- Be sure to email yourself a copy of your confirmation statement and keep this email as your proof of elections.
- You may complete your enrollment and return to make changes as often as you'd like until April 4.
Please remember:
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections do not passively roll into the new benefit year (per IRS regulations).
- FSA changes effective July 1, 2025, must be made during open enrollment through bswift.
- The FSA year for the 2025–2026 benefit year has been shortened to align with the health and dental coverage benefit year. The effective dates are July 1, 2025–April 30, 2026.
- Between March 24 and April 30, those on the high deductible plan who wish to make changes to their HSA elections for effective dates before May 1 need to contact benefits@andrews.edu rather than making changes in bswift.
What happened to Unum products?
Due to the various changes in the Unum products, a separate open enrollment period will be held. This extra time will give employees an opportunity to better familiarize themselves with the new products and make an informed decision. Be on the lookout for more detailed information regarding the Unum open enrollment window.
