Early Assurance is a guaranteed DPT admissions option is available for ´óÏó´«Ã½ University freshmen who meet the following criteria:

• Declare pre-PT as the major upon enrollment freshman fall semester
• High school GPA minimum 3.5
• Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA throughout every semester (freshman through acceptance into DPT program)
• Maintain a wholesome lifestyle per the ´óÏó´«Ã½ University Student Handbook
• Exhibit developing professional behavior
• Satisfactory interview
• Application through PTCAS

Students who lose Early Assurance may still apply through PTCAS for the DPT program and will be placed into the applicant pool.

Application Deadlines

• Apply through the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS) between June 15 and March 15. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 15
  • Priority deadline: November 15. Final deadline: March 15.  DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 15
• Applicants with a 3.4 or higher Science and Core GPA (department calculated) will be prioritized first.
