A meeting for new faculty to learn about key offices and processes at 大象传媒 University. This month focuses on the Human Resources office. By invitation; contact kgbailey@andrews.edu if you are a new faculty member and have not received an invitation.

The speaker (11:30 am) for the November meeting will be Jill Manoukian from the English Program in the School of Creative Arts and Humanities. Her topic will be "The Benefits of a Balanced Locus of Control for Students from Distressed Locations." Join us for fellowship (9:00 am), quiet independent writing time (9:30 am and 10:30 am), and a qualitative research talk (11:30 am). We meet in the Behavioral Sciences Research Center (Buller Hall 227) from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm. Attend for the whole time or just a part!

This is a suicide awareness training program from a faith-based perspective and will also be eligible for staff health credits. There is a registration fee ($45). Contact Dustin Young (dustiny@andrews.edu) with questions and to inquire about scholarships to cover the fee if needed.
