Biography
Dr. Nadine Isaac-Dennis is an Assistant Professor in the School of Graduate Psychology & Counseling. at 大象传媒 University, where she also serves as Program Director for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling programs. A proud alumna of 大象传媒 University, Dr. Isaac-Dennis earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling before completing her PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education at the University of Florida.
Dr. Isaac-Dennis is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and holds national credentials as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Additionally, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with advanced training in grief counseling and social-emotional support.
Dr. Isaac-Dennis brings a wealth of experience in teaching and clinical supervision, having worked with graduate students in counseling and counseling psychology at 大象传媒 University and the University of the Southern Caribbean. Her clinical background includes work in university counseling centers, school-based mental health services, and national education systems across the United States and the Caribbean.
Current Research or Professional Activities
Dr. Isaac-Dennis is actively engaged in research focused on the role of school mental health personnel in delivering trauma-informed care to students affected by community violence in Trinidad.
