The conference is themed The Reality of Things and includes complimentary lunch and breakfast. Admission is free to the public, and no prior registration is required. The conference is designed to equip families, caretakers, educators, policy members, and community members with practical knowledge and resources to support individuals with autism and other disabilities. Attendees will learn about disability law, workplace and building accommodations, and the nutritional needs and taste preferences of neurodivergent individuals. Our students will be sharing their research along with students from universities and colleges in East, Central, and West Africa, and the Philipines under the theme From Research to Mission: Solutions that Make a Difference.  Conference sessions will be held from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (EST), Sunday, April 19 through Tuesday, April 21, 2026. We are honored to welcome our plenary presenters, Dr. Colin Bruce and Dr. David Trim. Dr. Colin Bruce serves as Special Envoy for Humanitarian and Development Affairs at the International Committee of the Red Cross. Prior to this role, he spent 30 years at the World Bank, serving in senior technical and managerial positions, including Director for Strategy and Operations in the Africa Region and Senior Adviser in the Office of the President. Dr. David Trim is Director of Archives, Statistics, and Research at the World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. White Estate Branch Office and the Department of Church History. It will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The purpose of this symposium is to break new ground in understanding Ellen White and issues relating to her life, ministry and prophetic gift that have current importance. Papers will be presented with a prepared response. There will be an opportunity to submit questions relating to Ellen White and current issues. As time allows, these questions will be debated at the afternoon panel discussion. The Eau Claire Seventh-day Adventist Church is hosting a Community Messiah Sing. This is an invitation for interfaith Christians to join together in praise of the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. We’ll be singing the Easter portion of Handel’s Messiah, concluding with the “Hallelujah” chorus. Sing along with any aria or chorus you want! No “auditions” are necessary!
