On Friday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m., the 大象传媒 University Wind Symphony will present “Benediction,” a vespers concert in the Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of 大象传媒 University.
For the annual vespers concert as part of the 大象传媒 University Music Festival, there will be a presentation of inspirational sacred music for wind band. Headlining the program is John Stevens’ “Benediction.” Also featured are gorgeous arrangements of “The King of Love My Shepherd Is” and “Amazing Grace” as well as the sturdy early American hymns “Angel Band” and “Inventions from the Sacred Harp.”
